A personal message from the Ashford crew
|
It’s been a funny old few months… like everybody, we’ve had to make major changes to the way we live and work. Those of us who have been able to work have been working from home, doing what we can to keep the business going and providing support for clients who need it (e.g. with their LMS and communication with staff). Some of us are furloughed (so no Ashford Blog, sorry. Normal service will be resumed ASAP.)

Regular communication has been a real lifeline for those of us isolated at home. Like everybody else, we’ve discovered the joys of apps such as Google Meet and Zoom, in our business lives as well as our personal lives. We’ve been ‘meeting’ twice a week for updates, but mainly for a good long chat and a much-needed laugh – as you can see from the picture! It’s been such a success that we plan to keep up the regular meetings when things eventually get back to normal.

Speaking of normal (whatever that is)…
|
Now, at last, we’re starting to think about how to get back to normal, whatever the new ‘normal’ might be. As lockdown measures in the UK start to ease (at different times depending on which home nation you live in), we all need to prepare.
|
As well as preparing ourselves, we’ve also been talking about how we can help our clients, as they get ready to welcome staff back to work after furlough or back to the workplace having worked from home.
|
