Support for you if COVID-19 means staff have to work from home

Thanks to the coronavirus (COVID-19), the way we all work is rapidly changing. Remote working is becoming the new norm for many, for the time being at least.

Current government guidelines say that anyone with symptoms of coronavirus infection (COVID-19), however mild, must stay at home and not leave their house for 7 days from when the symptoms started. If one of our colleagues has to self-isolate, we’re all at risk… so it makes sense to have plans in place in case employees have to self-isolate, or if the country goes into 'lockdown'.

Like you, we’re taking precautions to keep our team – and our families, clients and customers – safe and healthy. In fact, we’re no strangers to remote working: some members of the Ashford Crew have been very successfully working from home for years.

But we also know that, when you work remotely, it’s vital that everyone stays connected. During the current crisis, it’s more important than ever to ensure your employees are informed and their training is up to date. After all, they won’t be in ‘social distancing’ mode forever!

Thankfully, we have the technology to ensure that self-isolation does not have to mean complete isolation from the outside world. We’ve created digital learning for clients all over the world – and we’re ready to help you too.

We can help you transfer your face-to-face training to digital learning – and it’s quicker and less expensive than you might think.

Ashford is here to help you, whether you need:
  • Courses to deliver immediately (see our catalogue of courses that are ready to use right now)
  • Tools to build your own courses
  • LMS support
  • Extra hands to speed up the process, as you transfer your current training into an online format.
Check out our blog (Going Remote? We're all in this together) to see some of the ways we can help you and your teams adapt to remote working.

We're also offering free, up-to-date advice on the subject of COVID-19. Our Ask Ashford: Coronavirus and Ask Ashford: Hand Washing interactive learning aids are available to everyone right now. Designed for mobile devices, they also work on PC/Mac. Follow the links above to access the learning aids online, and feel free to share them with your teams!
